Qld: Seven new schools to be built in public-private partnership

Seven new schools will be built in south-east Queensland .. under a Public-Private
Partnership model.

The schools will be built at the northern and southern ends of the Sunshine Coast ..

the Redlands area and the western corridor of Brisbane .. based on population growth forecasts.

Premier ANNA BLIGH says construction will begin early next year .. with the first four
schools to open in 2010.
