Vic: Man in induced coma after being found unconscious
MELBOURNE, Aug 7 AAP - A badly injured man found unconscious in a Melbourne bayside
laneway has been put in an induced coma.
Victorian police are appealing for help in tracking the movements of 43-year-old Fuad
Hasic who was found by a passer-by in a Hampton laneway around 9am (AEST) on Monday.
He was taken to The Alfred hospital with a serious head injury and after surgery was
placed in an induced coma.
Police initially believed the Mr Hasic's extensive injuries may have been the result
of a fall, but doctors say this is unlikely.
Mr Hasic is described as being of European appearance, 175cm tall, of medium build,
with short brown receding hair and an olive complexion.
