Vic: Fire risk over for now, high temps to come
A cool change early today has reduced the risk of bushfires in Victoria for the time
being ... but the hot weather's expected to return by Tuesday.
A state government coordinator says 90 firefighters are still working on 28 fires around
Victoria, but all are under control.
Several hundred firefighters were on standby today, but none was needed.
A spokesman for the weather bureau says tomorrow will remain humid but by Tuesday temperatures
will again reach the mid-30s, with freshening northerly winds around the State.
